Q2: Did you have an agile "lightbulb" moment? Can you describe what led to that momement?
The agile lightbulb went off for me when I was managing my first team at Weblogic (BEA Systems). There was always a strong automation culture and engineering practices inside Weblogic. I picked up Agile as a way to run my first team when a friend recommended a couple books on the topic. Looking back I had a lot to learn but I remember thinking the Agile principles matched my personal philosophy about running a good software team based on automated testing and cross-functional collaboration. The flexibility and responsiveness of the agile model provided a great framework for building great software.
